For this week’s Sampler offer we’re very pleased to present the Athens-based title Kennedy; a magazine created by photographer Chris Kontos in response to the financial crisis.

Behind a bookish format and text-based cover, Kennedy magazine offers an eclectic mix of personal encounters, philosophical enquiry and photographic essays, and manages to be both a personal project and a magazine with broad editorial appeal.

In issue four we meet the experimental musician Arto Lindsay, filmmaker and photographer Cheryl Dunn, and architect Paul Chemetoff. We’re taken on a tour of Paris’ most colourful hallways and given a photographic introduction to the brutalist architecture on the outskirts of the French capital.

If you appreciate intimate conversations and idiosyncratic independent publishing, this one is well worth checking out. Head over to our Sampler page to get 10% off and free shipping to the UK, US and Europe (and subsidised everywhere else).
