Last week’s Sampler offer was the cycling and lifestyle magazine Mondial, and this week we’re presenting another athletic title, but one that approaches sport from an altogether different perspective.

A New Type of Imprint is a beautifully designed ‘creative lifestyle magazine’ published out of Oslo and Bergen by the Norwegian agency ANTI, as a way to connect the world with contemporary Norwegian and Nordic creative culture.

This seventh issue is titled ‘Conversations on Creativity and the Spectacle of Sports’, and includes a 32-page examination of the relationship between sports and design, art directed by Nicklas Haslestad.

In this issue:
– Industrial Designer Falke Svatun on simplicity
– The relationship between football and design, by Kristina Ketola Bore
– Filmmaker Veronica Løkkeberg on motivations and controversy
– Illustrator Peter-John de Villiers on his difficult first years in Oslo

Head over to our Sampler page to see more spreads from the issue and to grab a copy. As always you get 10% off the cover price and free shipping to the UK, US and Europe (heavily subsidised everywhere else).
