New Bearded hits the shops

The new issue of Bearded is out this Thursday (26th) promising interviews with Bill Callahan (of Smog fame), Ratface, Le Reno Amps, Hanne Hukkelberg, Vessels and Voodoo Trombone Quartet, amongst others. Musician and comic book artist Jeffrey Lewis is also interviewed, and even drew the new issue’s cover (as seen above).
There’s talk of a big competition too, with a prize that they reckon no other magazine would ever offer. Details are shady at the moment, but I’m looking forward to getting my hands on a copy so I can see what all the fuss is about.
I won’t be sending this issue of Bearded out as a Stack magazine, so make sure you get yourself down to WHSmith or Borders to pick up your copy, or you can pre-order one online at the Bearded site.
