What is SHOOK?
it’s aid relief to the West. it’s a butterfly flapping its wings in Beijing. and it’s made out of paper, mouse clicks and ideas.

What makes it different to the rest?
we want to be the same as everybody else.

Who makes SHOOK?
whoever wants to – or that’s the idea anyway.

Who reads it?
innovators, thinkers, believers, achievers, strivers, experiencers, makers, survivors

Why did SHOOK start?
who else is gonna publish this stuff?

Why do you work in magazines?
i like meeting famous people.

Aside from the print magazine, what else are you involved in?
amateur phonography, counter-tenorism.

What would you change about SHOOK if you could?
don’t get me started. i’ll bore you.

Can you pick a favourite issue of Shook?
no. 1 was special. the first time is always special.

Where do you see SHOOK in five years?
i hope we won’t be around by then. seriously. it’s good to keep things moving.
