Founded way back in 1993, London-based The Idler magazine has become something of an institution. As its name suggests, this is a magazine made by people who see the virtue in not doing too much (aside from publishing a brilliant magazine, running an idler academy, organising events, hobnobbing with cool celebrities, etc…)

For their 48th issue they’ve changed format to a lovely perfect bound magazine that includes Michael Palin praising procrastination, Louis Theroux doing his laundry, and Will Self and Andrew Keen reflecting on the internet.

If you like to take things slow, you love playing the ukulele, or simply enjoy a well written magazine, this one’s worth checking out. Head over to our Sampler page to see some spreads and for the chance to bag a copy. As always you’ll get 10% off and free shipping to the UK, US and Europe.
