The Recorder comes to Printout

This is too much.

Next week’s Printout is dedicated to the art of the relaunch, and we’ve already announced that Makeshift, Boat and Gym Class will all be sharing their experiences of rebooting their magazines in 2014.

But now we also have The Recorder taking part too, with editor Emma Tucker talking us through the challenge of resurrecting Monotype’s 113-year-old title. It was a fantastic relaunch that built on what had gone before but also took the title in new directions, and I’m really looking forward to hearing Emma detailing her aims and influences.
