Last week’s Sampler offer was the brilliantly illustrated folklore issue of Madrid-based Minchō. And we’re not leaving Spain just yet; this week’s offer is Perdiz magazine, a wonderfully eccentric piece of publishing exploring the things that make us happy.

This issue meets an ex-architect who left the office behind to bring happiness to bees, a woman who loves the Eiffel Tower and other inanimate objects, and dogs dancing with their people, photographed by Bego Antón.

Perdiz really is a gem of a magazine – the exposed stitch binding, sparkly foiled logotype, the trademark gradient borders and beautiful illustration and photography.
