Video review: Harvard Design Magazine

One of my favourite magazines from the last few years was Colors under Patrick Waterhouse. I loved the way each issue would range far and wide under one unifying theme, so I was really excited this weekend to discover a similar breadth of content and perspectives in the pages of Harvard Design Magazine.

Based at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, it’s been going for ages (this is its 41st issue) but this is the first time I’ve come across it. The theme for this latest issue is ‘family planning’, but banish all thoughts of awkward sex education lessons – this is design in the broadest sense, and the editors use their theme as a way of investigating social, political and environmental issues from all around the world to understand the ways in which people organise their lives.
