Cover vote – August 2018
As of today, we’ve officially crowned seven winners and given out seven free Stack subscriptions to voters – but that’s no place to stop! Thanks to everyone who cast their vote for Tsurutokame, helping earn them the win for our July contest, and congratulations to Marie from Twitter on being the latest Stack subscription winner. I am obsessed with Tsurutokame, the fun, playful colours resist every stereotype of the elderly we have. The front image is beautiful, the portrait is full of feeling and detail down to the rollers in her hair. The kitsch sticker on the front is so Japanese and beautifully done.

From now until 20 December we’ll be publishing the three most popular covers from each month of the year, according to likes on the Stack Instagram feed, and asking you to vote for your favourite. On 21 December, we’ll put all the monthly winners up against each other to decide 2018’s champion of champions.
