With all its history and prestige, Vogue was always going to be able to command a pretty hefty turnout in this vote with a majority all but certain. But, Stack fans, this is a brave new world! One in which the undeniably striking cover of AIGA‘s Eye On Design magazine was more than enough to see off the old guard. As Ariana Grande puts it so succinctly: “thank u, next.” And thanks also to everyone who cast their vote – especially to Rhys from Twitter, who has a brand new Stack subscription coming their way!

From now until 20 December we’ll be publishing the three most popular covers from each month of the year, according to likes on the Stack Instagram feed, and asking you to vote for your favourite. On 21 December, we’ll put all the monthly winners up against each other to decide 2018’s champion of champions. With the top title revealed on Christmas Eve, it’s also your chance to win a free Stack subscription for your trouble! Call it an early Christmas present, courtesy of Stack.

Check our Twitter and Instagram feeds today for your chance to weigh in. The voting ends at midnight tonight, and tomorrow morning we’ll pick one person to win a year’s subscription to Stack — so remember to check back!

My eyes! @unseenplatform finished yesterday in Amsterdam and this magazine encapsulates its adventures in new photography. The cover features a picture from @evaoleary’s series Happy Valley, showing the dark underside of American life. (The girl pictured is using milk to wash pepper spray out of her eyes after a fight was broken up by police)
