Last month’s Stack delivery was Migrant Journal, the ambitious and expansive print magazine that explores 21st-century migration and its many manifestations. Speaking about migrants today tends to conjure up images of asylum seekers and refugees, and while Migrant Journal does include some of those stories, it also sets out to broaden the conversation and question what migration can mean today.

It’s complex, conceptual stuff, and they’ve worked hard to create a unified visual language that both draws readers into the detail and also creates a totally original aesthetic. Take a look at the video below for some examples of that, and remember – if you haven’t already seen this magazine for yourself, you’re missing out! Sign up to Stack and we’ll deliver a different independent magazine to your door every month, starting from just £7.
