The climate crisis is probably the biggest problem facing the world today, and lots of independent magazines devote their pages to grappling with the apparently impossible challenge. For our next magazine event we’ll bring two of those titles together to see the different ways they go about finding answers amongst the angst.

Martha Dillon is editor of It’s Freezing in LA!, which published its latest issue in collaboration with the Wellcome Collection, focusing on the intersection of climate and health.

David Reeve and Luciane Pisani are the editors and art director of Where the Leaves Fall, which mixes art and activism to raise and improve awareness of the damage being done to the planet.

If you ‘ve been to any of the other events in this series you’ll know that we’re supported by Park Communications, who will be there again showing some of the independent magazines they’ve printed recently. They’ll also be available to answer your questions about printing magazines, and they’re particularly hot on environmentally sustainable print, so come along to get the whole picture on publishing a climate-conscious magazine.

Tickets cost £6 or they’re free for students (email me from your university account and I’ll send over the 100% discount code). We were totally sold out for our last event, so book your place asap and I hope I’ll see you there.
