30-Second Story: The Gourmand #9

The Gourmand hits newsstands again with another fantastic cover. The old school New Yorker and baked goods enthusiast, Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster, tears himself out of the page to exclaim: Did somebody say cookies? It’s so good that we heard there was a (sugar) rush of online traffic to their distributors, and the stock there sold out within a day.

But we’re sifting out two particularly impressive (and well-named) photography features in the issue — ‘L’escar go’, which is about snails, and ‘Slim Picklings’, which zooms in on incredibly thin slices of pickled vegetables.
