A music magazine that is every bit as experimental as the artists it features, Zweikommasieben was our August delivery to Stack subscribers, and last month we held our Stack Magazine Club conversation to hear the team speak about what they do. We were joined by Remo Bitzi (publisher and managing editor), Mathis Neuhaus (editor) and Dorothee Dahler (graphic designer), and it was fascinating to hear them talk about how the magazine has evolved over the years.

One of my favourite things about Zweikommasieben is its habit of changing everything about its size, shape and design each issue, so that every time it presents itself as something fresh and new. The magazine has been running for 12 years and I thought the shape shifting had only started relatively recently, so I was surprised to learn that they’ve actually been changing it up right from the start.

I also love the way that all this crazy experimentation is expressed via their calm, rational, self-consciously Swiss publishing process, and I hope the video below helps to add an extra level of enjoyment to the magazine itself. If you haven’t already seen a copy you can pick one up in the Stack shop, or even better, subscribe to our surprise magazine club and we’ll start sending you a different magazine every month, and inviting you to our Zoom calls to hear from the makers direct.
