Anxy magazine explores mental health and our inner worlds. This third issue looks at the boundaries we set to make ourselves feel safe and empowered, while sharing stories on what happens when those lines are crossed or shattered. Founded with the aim to de-stigmatise discussions around mental health, it offers a kind, open and approachable way of looking at our inner parameters.

Anxy won Art Director of the Year (issue 3) and Best Use of Illustration (issue 2) at the 2018 Stack Awards

In this issue:

  • Our comfort zones are here to protect us, even if productivity specialists say otherwise
  • Hip-hop artist Open Mike Eagle as interviewed by Bijan Stephen
  • Alana Hope Levinson on broken homes
  • Samantha Irby on anxiety-induced boundaries
  • Stories from people whose environmental boundaries define their lives
  • Eric Reidy reporting from Syria on the psychological stress facing refugees
  • And Dayna Evans on the weight of silence between family members
