Every issue of Eye on Design explores a different theme that highlights the unexpected intersections of design and the wider world. For this third issue the magazine focuses on ‘Gossip’, and its pages are filled with stories about how design is shaping the way people communicate — truthfully, salaciously, and otherwise.

 

Each issue of Eye on Design also sees a new guest designer taking the helm and pushing the boundaries of editorial design, bringing fresh, provocative ideas to life. This time it’s the turn of New York-based designer and educator Allyn Hughes, with a special supplementary mini mag, ‘Spotted’, also included within the bundle and designed by Tala Safié as a tribute to the trashy tabloids.
