Migrant Journal explores the idea of migration in all its forms — the circulation of people, goods, fauna and flora around the world, and the transformative impact they have on space. By examining the relationship between these elements, Migrant Journal aims to rethink our approach to migration and critically explore the new spaces it creates.

This fifth and penultimate issue, Micro Odyssey, focuses on the microscopic in movement. Obsessed by the movements of humans, the ‘big picture’ and the mega-infrastructure that makes their circulation possible, we forget that every great journey has its origin below the radar, and this issue zooms in to uncover the truths hidden in the microscopic.

Commended for Magazine of the Year at the 2019 Stack Awards
