The Modernist is a quarterly printed publication about 20th-century modernist architecture and design. Published in the North of England, it is now spreading its elegant tentacles around the world.

This issue, Kitchen, is dedicated to the heart of the home, taking a look at how the kitchen evolved through the 20th century, and digging deeper into some of the objects and ideas that came to define the modern kitchen.
