Tinted Window is a journal that focuses on just one person, place or object. Each issue relishes in the details of its subject, opposing the current trend for quick news bites and listicles. This issue the focus is Materializzazione del Linguaggio, an exhibition curated by Italian artist Mirella Bentivoglio, featuring over eighty women artists working across a huge range of media.

In this issue:

  • Karen Di Franco writes about Kathy Acker’s mantras
  • Paula Claire in conversation with William Cobbing
  • Silvia Mejia explores female gestures and euphemism
  • Giovanna Sandri delves into the alphabet’s lunar origin
