Weapons of Reason magazine exists to turn knowledge into action — each issue it picks a big, difficult, important challenge facing the world and breaks it down into a collection of stories, illustrations and infographics that give an in-depth but accessible account of what’s happening. This seventh issue tackles inequality.

With carefully crafted, jargon-free text and simple but clever artwork, it informs without overwhelming, and at the end of most stories you’ll find a ‘What now?’ section recommending practical next steps like further reading, a group you could join or a service you could try.

In this issue:

  • Trace the structural and systemic factors that have made inequality pervasive from early feudalism right up to the present day
  • An exploration of capitalism and neoliberalism
  • New and exciting ideas for moving away from an inherently unequal system towards a future in which wealth and resources are more equitably shared
  • Ensuring a habitable earth
