For this week’s Sampler offer we look to New York and Jarry – a magazine launched last year that combines its founders’ love for food and gay men.

Through a mix of Interviews, commentary and recipes, Jarry explores the ways in which food and gay culture intersect. “We wanted to see what a food magazine could look like if the presumed audience were gay men,” publishing director Alex Kristofcak said in our interview following the launch of Jarry’s first issue.

Besides handsome men in aprons, this second issue includes a culinary tour of Atlanta, a conversation with Simon Doonan, who shares his obsession with health food, a lushly photographed Indian feast and much more.
