Video review: Double Dot magazine #9, Moscow and Belgium

Look inside this magazine exploring the creative and cultural relationship between sister cities

Created after WWII, sister cities were a way to foster the relationship between two former foes through cultural exchange. Double Dot magazine wants to explore that interconnectedness, as well as the differences, through contemporary design, fashion and culture.

Published in Toronto, the small format magazine is a carefully designed piece of print — starting with one city, the content mirrors itself halfway through, switching to the other whilst maintaining a narrative momentum. Snippets of connections are seen throughout the interviews, personal essays and fashion editorials, joining the dots if you will, between two seemingly disparate metropolises, one from the East and one from the West.

Watch our video review below to see inside the magazine, and make sure to look up their past issues which have focused on Paris and Seoul, New York and Tokyo, London and Berlin, and more.
