Launched in 1998, Tank magazine is one of those titles that has consistently provided fresh perspectives as one of the pioneers in the indie mag industry. We recently interviewed them for their Mouthfeel issue, which looked at our obsession with food, and now we’re very happy to be offering their Borderless issue on Sampler.

Their annual travel issue has become renowned for its left-field perspectives, and this time they sent their favourite writers and photographers to report on a world that seems to be breaking apart, reflecting on the strangeness, fantasy and reality of our fractured times. Scroll down to get an idea of some of the contents, and head over to our Sampler page to order a copy with free shipping!

In this issue:

fort-lauderdale-tank-magazine— Writer and drag queen Tom Rasmussen reports from the world’s largest transgender conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
michigan-tank-magazine— Novelist Tod Wodicka explores the lakeside bars and hotels of northern Michigan
land-tank-magazine— The elaborate Land of Legends theme park in southern Turkey uncovered by writer Natasha Stallard and photographer CG Watkins
zurich-tank-magazine-stack— Writer Philip Maughan and photographer Timo Wirsching discover Dada and drugs on the streets of Zurich
