We’re hiring: awards intern

The Stack Awards opens for entries next month, and we’re offering a paid internship for somebody to work with us on the project from September through to the end of November.

The position would suit a recent graduate interested in event management and project management, and of course we’re looking for somebody who’s excited by the prospect of working with the world’s best independent magazines.

Specific duties will include:
// Contacting publishers to promote the awards and help them complete their entries
// Managing the magazines submitted, making sure they’re properly logged and stored, before working with the Stack team to shortlist and send selected titles to our judges around the world
// Organising the judging day, magazine marketplace and awards ceremony
// Helping with press and publicity to ensure the awards are seen by as many people as possible
