Update

I’ve been going hell for leather on the Sampler launch for the last few weeks, but now that’s up and running I’m looking forward to getting out and attending a couple of events in London next week.

On Tuesday 23rd I’ll be at The Design Museum to take part in their short course on independent publishing. It’s connected to the Designs of the Year show (tickets include entry to the exhibition before the course begins) and the whole day will be dedicated to asking why independent publishing is so popular today, and how publishers manage to make ends meet. Tickets are on sale now – use the code GRAPHICS15 for a 50% discount when you sign up.

And on the evening of Thursday 25th I’ll be at the Groucho Club to chair a panel on art magazines, organised by Vanessa Power from Avenir magazine. Vanessa will be speaking on the panel, as will James Wright from So It Goes, Will Hudson from Printed Pages and Molly Taylor from Elephant. They’re very different magazines, and I’m really interested to hear them all speak about what they see as the role of the art magazine today. Again, there’s a discount if you’re going to buy tickets – use READERS50 for 50% off the regular price.

See you there!
