We sent out Mold Magazine as our last delivery of 2017, a new launch with some of the best designs we’ve seen all year. It’s a title that’s interested in food, but opposes ‘foodie culture’ — the editors believe in platforming good design, smart practices that will curb an imminent food crisis. We were excited to share this with our subscribers, and they seem to have liked the blend of innovative technology and inventive typography. Here are some of our favourite responses from readers this month, and the best comment won a money-can’t-buy Stack t-shirt…
5. Christmas day reading
Honey spent her days off absorbing the pages of Mold — check out the Santa card too!
Perfect timing from @StackMagazines @thisismold this month, that’s Christmas Day’s reading material sorted! (If I can resist reading it for that long that is) and I LOVE the illustration from @hellorobflowers pic.twitter.com/70VQmIpeqQ

Somewhere in Northern England, a fresh copy of Mold stars in this perfectly composed scene.
2. Story ideas
Thanks for your nice roundup of some of the features in this issue Laura!

1. End of year list
This month’s winner is Sophie, who included us in her list of favourite things from 2017. Thanks for giving us a seat at the table! We’re sending a Stack t-shirt your way…
On the wind down from work and keeping December blues at bay by reminding myself of my favourite things in 2017. My newfound love of plants (and ability to keep them alive thanks to @bestbudsbelfast and @mementobelfast ), my @stackmagazines subscription, my renewed commitment to fierce acrylic nails, gorgeous furniture from @bettyslounge tattoos and trips with @jennahayes and #radpando, meeting @emcquiston reconnecting with @hannahmcbriiide having @himynameisrobyn as a roommate, finding therapy and the gym again (can I say that after two weeks?!) and Sib. always ALWAYS ALWAYS Sib. what have you been thankful for in 2017? That isn’t creepy comment bait btw I genuinely want to know
