Stack at home: NXS and Magnum Chronicles, May 2018

We sent out two magazines to Stack subscribers for May (lucky them!) NXS, pronounced ‘nexus’, is a completely original and fresh title in both form and content, which examined technology and the self. Magnum Chronicles is the first print magazine from the international photography organisation, which drew on its massive archives to produce an image-driven look at the rise of Isis.

Every month, we ask subscribers to send us their thoughts, which you can find on a designated Pinterest board. Read on to see some highlights — the best response at the bottom wins an absolutely to die for Stack t-shirt…

This month’s magazine is one that made our readers work. But after months of dropping beautiful and composed magazines into people’s homes and studios, we wanted to spice it up with different, provocative titles.

The first issue of Magnum Chronicles @magnumphotos is the most challenging magazine I’ve ever read from @stackmagazines Magnum Chronicles manages to expertly fuse the clinical facts, timeline and analysis of Isis’s history with deeply personal photojournalism.
