Come and work for Stack

We’re working on some exciting changes at the moment, and as part of that we’re looking for a new member of staff to come and join the Stack team. It’s a full-time position, paying £23,000 per year and starting in May. Here’s the job advert as it appears on If You Could and The Dots:

For the last 10 years Stack has selected the most interesting and exciting independent magazines and delivered them direct to subscribers around the world. We’re relaunching this summer with a new focus on the passion and creativity that drives independent publishing, and we’re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to help us work with even more of these extraordinary magazines.

The successful candidate will be meticulously organised, with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. They will have experience planning and managing projects to tight deadlines, and will be excited by the opportunity to join a small, creative team.

Working from our office at Somerset House in London, they will oversee magazine sales in the Stack online shop, buying stock from publishers, liaising with the warehouse and communicating with customers, and collaborating with the editorial team to schedule and produce content and promotions. They will also be responsible for running special projects like the Stack Awards, for example promoting the awards, managing awards submissions and organising the judging and awards ceremony.
