We’re very sorry to announce that this event has been cancelled due to the ill health of Hayley. We’ve refunded all tickets, but please email us if you have any queries about the event.

Brick magazine is aptly named. At 246 pages it’s a great, thick slab of print that specialises in delivering an uncompromising view of contemporary hip hop.

In our recent interview with editor and founder Hayley Louisa Brown, she spoke about the passion that has taken her this far, the challenges she faced along the way, and the big opportunities she sees coming up next. It’s a fascinating story and we wanted to hear more, so I’m very pleased that Hayley will be our guest at the next Stack Live event, at the Ace Hotel on Thursday 4 August.

We’ll be speaking about the stories behind the stories in the latest issue, and digging down deep to understand how the magazine took shape. Tickets are available now for just £6 from our Eventbrite page, and they guarantee a great night of independent publishing.

As well as taking you up close and personal with one of today’s most exciting music magazines, your ticket also buys you a free copy of the latest issue of Huck (worth £6), plus free beers by Brixton Brewery and music provided by Hayley herself. It’s going to be a great night, so pick up your tickets now and we’ll see you there.
