Current affairs Update

Lots of independent magazines today carry a serious message and want to change the way that people see the world. But is it really possible for independent magazines to make a difference? For this first Stack Live event of 2018 we’re bringing together a panel of independent magazine makers to discuss the work they do, the challenges they face, and how they’re using print to affect change in the world.

Featuring:
Rob Orchard, editor of Delayed Gratification
Justinien Tribillon, editor of Migrant Journal
Seán Dagan Wood, editor of Positive News
Samira Shackle, deputy editor of New Humanist

Tickets cost just £6, and are available on our Eventbrite page. The discussion will be hosted by Steve Watson, founder of Stack, and begin at 7pm. There will be time afterwards to ask questions and speak directly to the editors too, so stay around for a beer/juice/nacho platter…
