Stack Live: Ladybeard magazine
In a recent interview with us, feminist magazine Ladybeard says they want to spark conversation around ideas that are traditionally shrugged off or misrepresented.
Their second issue is a comprehensive showcase of intelligent and current discussions about the human mind — expect everything from how capitalism causes anxiety, to a photo series of the infamous psychologist couch; the therapeutic effects of LSD, clinical mistreatment of mental health, and Google’s search engine mind-control.
Now, we’re speaking to them again at the Hoxton square Bar & Kitchen, Monday, September 19th. Editors Kitty Drake, Madeleine Dunnigan and Sadhbh O’Sullivan, arts editors Tyro Heath and Hannah Abel Hirsch, and art director Scarlet Evans will be present.
Tickets are £6 from our Eventbrite page, and you get to enjoy a DJ set from Wolf Alice front woman Ellie Rowsell after the talking is done, so come along and immerse yourself in the ultimate Ladybeard experience.
Click attend on our Facebook event page to see more spreads of the magazine. Copies of the current issue will be available to buy on the night, but if you can’t wait, you can order one from their website.
