Hotdog is a poetry magazine that publishes female identifying, non-binary and transgender voices. Platforming humour and honesty, the writings see musings on everyday subjects, and we love it for their fresh and inclusive approach to the literary form.

From the beginning, the creators of Hotdog have judged the success of the magazine on the response of the poets and artists in its pages, and so representing the work as faithfully as possible has become the magazine’s top priority. That has led to fastidious editorial processes and a natural sense of community that shines out of the pages.

We’ve watched Hotdog grow over the years, getting stronger issue by issue while retaining a sense of outsider cool, and this third issue concentrates on identity, food and secret desires.
